About Martin County Criminal History

Martin County criminal records are split among the Sheriff's Office, courts in Williamston, the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, the state correction system, and the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry. Each office holds a different part of the record. This private resource was built to make those lines clear and to direct readers to an official portal, address, or telephone number without treating one database as the whole history.

Why We Built This Site

North Carolina makes many court and public-record facts available, but access depends on the custodian. Martin County court charges, docket events, and judgments belong with the clerk and eCourts. The Sheriff's Office creates deputy incident and arrest records and handles local registration duties, while custody information comes from Bertie-Martin Regional Jail in Windsor. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation maintains fingerprint-supported statewide criminal history, the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction tracks prison and community-corrections records, and the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry publishes registration profiles. The site organizes official contacts, search routes, fees, and request steps around those real divisions.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a North Carolina court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. Those limits matter:

  • We cannot issue a certified court record, rap sheet, or other official copy
  • We cannot submit a records request, expunction petition, or other filing for a visitor
  • We cannot run an official criminal-history check or retrieve a record for someone
  • We cannot interpret a charge, give legal advice, or apply the law to a specific case
  • We cannot promise that an office's fee, address, telephone number, or hours have not changed

Only the office that holds the source record, such as the clerk, sheriff, or North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, can issue an official copy.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes that appear on some pages. They operate their own services, set any prices, and control their results. If a visitor follows one of those tools and purchases a service, this site may receive a referral fee. That support helps make the reference material available without a charge to readers. We do not set a partner's price or decide what its search returns.
